A Constructive Approach

“It Takes A Village To Raise A Child”

When business is full tilt and the crew are resource stretched & time poor it’s all to easy to take your eye off the critical elements of a strong future for, not only the company, but also industry in general.

The common heard phrase “we just can’t get good tradies” should really be re-worded to “were just not creating enough good tradies”, a little ownership of the problem and solution goes a long way.

Having always had a strong approach to creating the future tradespeople that will keep Australian manufacturing capable and progressive, Kert’s knows only too well it’s a community effort.

At the centre of it all is the young people who chose this path. Their world is as fast moving, scrutinised, technical, controlled and open to opinions from every angle.. oh… and there’s a global pandemic for them to box accordingly.

Luckily, there are some great organisations that support us to support our young people. Programs such as QMI’s “Gateway To Industry Schools Program” managed by Jules McMurtrie and the AI Group’s Apprenticeship Program’s Paul Eames that supports them when they get here.

Here are a couple of links to our village…
