Since our modest beginnings in Brisbane in the mid 70s, G&O Kert has never lost sight of the importance of great customer relationships.

Over 45 years and 5 owners later, the company has gone from strength to strength. Central to G&O Kert’s success is the “old school” service that our first customers would have experienced. Our personalised and friendly service is in the DNA of the company and is core to our ongoing success. 

Ian Melville, the current owner since 2008, has built the company through the toughest of market conditions. Through a reliable, versatile and reactive approach, we have supported our key clients and maintained relationships that span decades.

Defined by our markets and driven by their future is our approach to refining our capabilities. Our 3000 sq/m facility in Acacia Ridge, Queensland, houses a versatile fleet of high-end, state-of-the-art Mazak machine tools, supported by a manual machining section, fabrication bay assembly area and coordinate measuring machine.

Our true competitive capability is the diversity of our team. We are a team of passionate career machinists with a broad collective experience from sectors such as aerospace, defense, materials handling, mineral processing and specialised manufacturing.
